  • Perplexity – For AI-generated text and content

  • OpenAI – For AI-generated text and assistance

  • ElevenLabs – For voice rendering of episodes

  • SQLite – For local device storage of personal data

  • JWT Auth via Django – For secure authentication

  • AWS – For cloud hosting of server-side journal logs (US-based)

All providers are under contract with Oromis and process data only as instructed.

6. Data Storage and Transfers

  • Most user data is stored locally on your device using SQLite.

  • Journal logs and certain operational data are stored on AWS servers in the United States.

  • We do not currently implement crash reporting, but may add it in future versions.

  • International transfers, where required, are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or UK IDTA mechanisms.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Request correction or deletion

  • Withdraw consent for optional processing

  • Request data portability

  • Object to certain types of processing
